The KGF maintains a long standing commitment to Kenny's alma matter, Skidmore College, where it created a scholarship in Kenny's name, targeting high school students who have the ability to thrive in a higher education environment but whose schools do not provide the support or resources necessary to prepare them for the academic challenges of college. Over 20 students have received full four-year scholarships to the college since the scholarship was established in 2000. We are most proud of the young men and women who were and are Kenny Gordon Scholars. You can read more about these fine individuals on the site here.

Founded in 1903 and located in Saratoga Springs, New York, on a beautiful 890-acre campus, Skidmore is one of the top ranked liberal arts colleges in the country, known for its creative approaches to just about everything. The college's core belief: creative thought matters. With a diverse student body of 2,500 from 45 states/territories and 60 countries and a faculty of 300 dedicated teacher-scholars, Skidmore offers more than 40 majors in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences, as well as in career-specific fields such as business, education, exercise science, and social work. The Kenny Gordon Scholarship at Skidmore, specifically targets high school students who have the ability to thrive in a higher education environment but whose schools do not provide the support or resources necessary to prepare them for the academic challenges of college.
