And now for the long awaited rest of the reunion weekend plans! We have been looking for venues for Friday night Meet and Greet and Sunday Brunch which, like the Zanzibar Cafe, allow us to be together outdoors. Friday night will be at McLoone’s, next door to the Turtleback Zoo at 7:30. We were there once before and it’s perfect because it has a really nice, large outdoor patio/ bar overlooking the reservoir. Saturday during the day, if you would like to visit Turtleback Zoo before our reunion, the Zoo has made arrangements for anyone attending our reunion to get admission to the zoo for $10. Just say you are attending the WOHS ‘71 Class Reunion when purchasing your ticket. If you haven’t seen it recently, you will be amazed at how it’s grown. Since some of our classmates have reserved rooms at the Cambria Hotel in Essex Green, the Cambria has agreed to allow us to use their outdoor patio for brunch on Sunday. They have a cafe in the hotel with a breakfast/ brunch menu and we can order at the counter and bring it out to the patio which is furnished with umbrella tables and chairs. Sunday Brunch is called for 10:30. We hope you can attend some or all of these events. And if you have any school yearbooks, pictures or other nostalgia bring it along!
